Trees Impact Local Weather and Save Energy

A recent study utilizing computer models, by researchers at the University of British Columbia has shown how trees have an impact on local weather thereby saving energy.

Put simply, buildings without trees around are exposed to greater wind pressure whereby air is forced into a building through cracks and crevasses thus driving up the energy costs to maintain the climate within the building.
